Tirana International Airport "Mother Teresa" is the only international airport in Albania, which offers flights from and to many European destinations. Please visit the website for more information. For those flying to
Tirana there are two options to get from and to the airport. The
airport is about 20-25 min drive from the city centre. The cheapest
way to get to the city is to use public transport. There is a bus
which runs 12 hours (6:00 am to 6:00pm). The one-way fare is 250
Albanian lek. Otherwise you will have to take a taxi.
For more information
about how to get to and from the airport, please consult
http://www.tirana-airport.com/
(‘Getting here and parking’ page).
